A former Druid, Amergan, he currently acts as a teacher for Colin MacLeod. He is a spirit who met Colin MacLeod when he had just revived from his first death. Amergan knew quite a bit about Immortals, and told Colin about his Immortality and The Game. Colin didn't care, only wanting to avenge himself on Marcus Octavius. Amergan followed Colin, and continually attempted to make him stop and think rather than continue on a path of mindless vengeance.
Amergan can possess small animals and insects, but is usually trying to talk to Colin, who usually refuses to listen to him.
