A self-proclaimed army brat, she grew up on bases through out Texas and Kansas. She was a Special Agent with Army Intelligence - Criminal Investigation Division -  assigned to investigate the band of mercenaries hired by Renegade Watcher James Horton and Xavier St. Cloud, after their assault in Duncan MacLeod's dojo in 1994.

During the events of Unholy Alliance

During investigation, she developed an attraction to MacLeod, without having the feeling returned.  MacLeod was at that time still mourning the loss of Tessa.

Two and a half years later, she sought MacLeod's help again when investigating Xavier St. Cloud impersonator, Morgan D'Estaing.

She married Congressman Paul Liebowitz in 1997.
