Background[]
Francesco hid himself on Holy Ground in order to escape from The Game. In the year 1918, two girls hired by The Kurgan, lured him off of Holy Ground for some sexual favors. The Kurgan was an Immortal whom he had encountered before, and he knew about the monk's weakness for young women.
Francesco sensed The Kurgan, but couldn't do anything about it because he was unarmed. The Kurgan took his head and Quickening, and then had his way with the girls.
