Helen Wells was a mortal woman living in Greenville, Washington. She was married to an Immortal named Alan Wells. She and Alan were very happy and living a good life, they were taking care of a mentally challenged Immortal named Mikey Bellows.
Alan Wells, Helen, and Mikey
Things were going well for them, Alan ran a scrap yard and Helen and Mikey helped out. One day an Immortal, Tyler King challenged Alan. Alan had Helen get Mikey into an old school bus to hide and told them to keep quiet so Tyler would not notice them. Helen had to get Mikey into the bus though Mikey did not want to. Alan and Tyler fought one another and Alan was defeated and when Tyler took Alan's head, Helen screamed. Mikey tried to keep her quiet and accidentally broke Helen's neck. While Tyler was receiving Alan's Quickening, the terrified Mikey ran off.
