Jack the Ripper (real name still unknown) was an Immortal serial killer who was active in 1888 in and around the largely impoverished areas of the Whitechapel district in London.
Attacks ascribed to the Ripper typically involved female prostitutes from the slums whose throats were cut prior to abdominal mutilations. Five victims were confirmed, although perhaps as many as eight to ten other women may have been his victims, as well.
One evening, he had targeted another victim, when he suddenly sensed the presence of a fellow Immortal. It was Connor MacLeod who was walking through London. After a short duel, the Ripper lost his head and Quickening to Connor.
