Aurelianus was assigned to Chronicle the life of Marcus Constantine by the Watcher organization, and was present in Egypt when the last ruler of the Ptolemaic dynasty, Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator, took her own life in defiance of Roman aggression.

He likewise bore witness to the aggression born between the general Constantine and Cleopatra's Immortal handmaiden, Nefertiri, and speculated that, were Nefertiri to have accompanied Constantine back to Rome as his wife, his military career would have ended.
